The information below clarifies the role, responsibilities, and limitations applicable to QX Engineering Private Limited and its services.

1. Scope of Services

QX Engineering Private Limited acts as a technical sourcing and quality-governance partner. Depending on the agreed scope, our services may include:

  • Supplier and foundry qualification
  • Technical sourcing support
  • Engineering coordination
  • Production monitoring
  • Inspection and verification
  • Testing or witnessing activities
  • Quality documentation review
  • Supplier development and governance
  • Dispatch-readiness verification

The exact scope of work for each project is defined by the applicable quotation, Statement of Work, Master Services Agreement, purchase order, or other written contractual agreement.

2. Third-Party Manufacturing Responsibility

QX Engineering Private Limited does not manufacture products supplied by third-party foundries, suppliers, or subcontractors unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Accordingly, QX does not assume responsibility for manufacturing activities carried out by independent third parties.

Responsibility for manufacturing execution, process control, workmanship, and production output remains with the relevant manufacturer or supplier, subject to the applicable contractual arrangements.

3. Product Design and Ownership

QX Engineering Private Limited does not assume ownership or responsibility for product design unless expressly contracted to provide such services.

Responsibility for drawings, design specifications, technical requirements, intellectual property, performance requirements, and product-design approval remains with the party responsible under the applicable project contract.

4. Product Warranty and Contractual Conformity

QX Engineering Private Limited does not provide or assume responsibility for:

  • Product warranty
  • Manufacturer warranty obligations
  • Product performance guarantees
  • Contractual product conformity
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Commercial guarantees made by the manufacturer or supplier

Any such obligations remain with the manufacturer, supplier, buyer, or other responsible party as defined in the applicable contract.

5. Inspection, Testing and Verification

Inspection, testing, witnessing, and verification activities are carried out according to:

  • The agreed scope of work
  • Applicable project specifications
  • Approved drawings
  • Defined sampling plans
  • Applicable test methods
  • Available records and evidence
  • Agreed acceptance criteria

These activities represent an assessment of the conditions, samples, documentation, or processes reviewed at the time of inspection.

They must not be interpreted as a guarantee that every manufactured unit is completely free from defects.

Where sampling inspection is used, results apply to the samples examined within the agreed inspection scope.

6. Standards and Acceptance Criteria

Applicable technical standards, specifications, classifications, test methods, revisions, editions, tolerances, and acceptance criteria shall be determined from the relevant project documentation and contractual requirements.

QX Engineering Private Limited does not independently define such requirements unless specifically requested and agreed within the project scope.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the correct project specifications, applicable standards, revisions, and acceptance criteria are provided or formally approved.

7. Certification

QX Engineering Private Limited does not provide certification merely by conducting inspection, review, testing, witnessing, or verification activities.

Certification services will only be provided where:

  • They are expressly included in the contractual scope; and
  • QX Engineering Private Limited is legally authorised, qualified, or accredited to provide such certification.

Inspection reports, verification records, or technical observations should not be interpreted as certificates of conformity unless expressly identified as such.

8. Transportation, Freight and Customs

Unless specifically included within a written agreement, QX Engineering Private Limited does not assume responsibility for:

  • Transportation
  • Freight forwarding
  • Shipping
  • Customs clearance
  • Import or export formalities
  • Carrier performance
  • Cargo handling
  • Delivery delays
  • Loss or damage in transit

These responsibilities remain with the manufacturer, logistics provider, carrier, buyer, seller, or other party assigned such obligations under the applicable commercial agreement.

9. Supplier Performance

QX Engineering Private Limited may monitor, evaluate, inspect, or coordinate third-party suppliers and foundries.

However, such activities do not transfer the supplier’s contractual or manufacturing responsibilities to QX.

The manufacturer or supplier remains responsible for its own:

  • Manufacturing processes
  • Product quality
  • Production capacity
  • Workforce
  • Machinery
  • Raw materials
  • Compliance
  • Delivery obligations
  • Corrective actions
  • Product conformity

10. No Absolute Guarantee

QX Engineering Private Limited applies professional engineering judgment, technical oversight, and reasonable quality-control practices within the agreed scope.

However, our services should not be interpreted as an absolute guarantee of:

  • Zero defects
  • Zero rejections
  • Zero production delays
  • Complete supplier compliance
  • Continuous supply
  • Product performance
  • Final customer acceptance

Manufacturing and supply-chain activities inherently involve technical, commercial, operational, and third-party risks.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete project information, including where applicable:

  • Drawings
  • Specifications
  • Material requirements
  • Applicable standards
  • Revision status
  • Inspection criteria
  • Test requirements
  • Acceptance criteria

  • Delivery requirements

QX Engineering Private Limited is not responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or conflicting information supplied by the client or another project party.

In the event of any inconsistency between this website Disclaimer and a formally executed contractual agreement, the terms of the applicable contract shall prevail.
